Elan Software Systems, a leading provider of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software solutions, with a customer portfolio that includes companies such as Baxter, Takeda, Sanofi Aventis, Merck or Yves Rocher, announced today that Expanscience Laboratories have successfully deployed the XFP Weigh & Dispense solution on their manufacturing site of Epernon, France. XFP Weigh & Dispense secures the entire weighing process of Expanscience Laboratories and greatly improve manufacturing traceability. The manufacturing site of Expanscience Laboratories covers all aspects of the manufacturing chain from the pre-pilot product phase to end product packaging. Each year, the eight production lines enable the company to deliver 46.5 million pharmaceutical and dermo-cosmetic products.
Compliance and safety
The implementation of XFP Weigh & Dispense Solution from Elan Software fits excellently with the group’s quality and safety policies. Software solution compliant with FDA and French Health Products Safety Agency standards, XFP provides the Expanscience Laboratories with full traceability and total safety of raw materials and batches during the critical weighing and mixing process of dermo-cosmetic products. The XFP solution is integrated with MOVEX, the company ERP system. Manufacturing information is constantly updated between systems such as items, locations, batch and material consumption.
